This project was done just so I could see if I had the skills to do it.

Commissioned card table for international artist.

Before the clear coat.

I like to use reclaimed wood in my projects as much as I can. This was a wooden art crate in it’s first life. It’s a good example of a free build.

Everything but the hinges and internal hardware is recycled.

It’s meant to recall the industry in which the materials were recycled from.

Once again, reclaimed shipping crate repurposed into a base cabinet for linen. It’s very heavy duty, but was meant to rest on top of another dresser.

You can see the clear coat in this image.

I like to use full extension drawer slides as it make getting things in back much easier.

The client wanted to use a set of prefabricated legs they found on the internet. Wood is left over bar top stock from a project the clients family had completed.

This is my favorite reclaimed material. I reclaimed two big flat sheet and turned it into this.

I wanted to make the wood grain on the outside framing to contrast the internal panel. It was a challenge due to the limited amount of reclaimed material, but was able to get the outside framing perpendicular to the inside panel.
